This is a love story….
Of a girl and her yellow balloon/friend.

Elayna was given this happy balloon almost three weeks ago by a nice neighbor. She was immediately smitten by him. She has held onto the ribbon constantly…. While watching Baby Einstein, she would sit with the balloon floating just above her. The minute she finished eating she would look for Balloon, squeal and wave her arm in his direction. While in her high chair she would suddenly look over and call to him. She liked playing with Balloon when laying down, sitting up, whenever. She would pull on the ribbon and make him fly around wildly. She would pull him down to her so she could pet and study him. They had such fun!!

Sadly, he will not live forever. You can see how wrinkly he is now. She is still in love with Balloon, but they do not play as often. I hope she wont notice the difference when I replace him with a new one.

I think I will hold onto him though….
