Pushing my luck.

I wanted to help Joaquin make a special present for his mommy and daddy, since they love him so, so much and take such very good care of him. He told me that he appreciates it and wanted to show them he loved them a lot too. 😉 So, we went to Michael’s and bought a bunch of new paintbrushes, and a couple kinds of canvas and set off to push my luck with two toddlers and a lot of painting.

Thank goodness, my luck didn’t run out and Murphy’s Law didn’t kick in. The kids were angels about it! Who would’ve thought that they would sit nicely at the table and paint only what was right in front of them?! Not me! Yet they did just that. I really didn’t even need all the newspaper to save the kids table, no paint was spilled in the making of the presents. Haha!

The results were great, and we even got Joaquin’s little hand prints on one of the paintings. Most important, I think Annie and D liked their gift from their little guy. 🙂

Stay tuned for more from “Pushing my luck with toddlers and paint.” I think I will try that again soon. It was pretty fun!

P.S. Unfortunately, the only photo I got of the kids was right before we got started. Once the paint was out I was too scared to step away and take a picture!
