So, these aren’t the best pictures, but they are cute and they tell the story.

Elayna has been missing her G.G. (Great Grandma), Papa, and Gram since we got back from vacation.

I base this on the following facts:

1. When we got home from the airport and I went to get her out of the carseat (at 12am our time, 2am Iowa time) she had her travel photograph book and was looking at the picture of Papa and Gram, saying their names and patting the book page.

2. She often inserts G.G., Papa, and/or Gram into her random discussions with herself or others. Pretty funny, and I wish I knew what she was saying about them!!

3. She points at their pictures and says their names at home.

4. When I give her blueberries she says “G.G.” – Great Grandma Ruth provided her with these a couple times on our trip.

and

5. What happened yesterday.

Then I said, “Who could it be?!” Suddenly this was her face. She tells me, quite happily “G.G.”

And then she was chatting on the phone.

She continued to do this for a while. Super happy girl. After a minute she switched from
G.G. to Papa, and then to Gram. Apparently, in her fake conversation with them, they had
passed the phone around. Totally had me laughing!!!
