Yep. It was 60 degrees the other day (January 29th) and so Elayna and I skipped out on naptime and hit the zoo instead! 🙂
It was rather funny, because there weren’t many people there despite the warm, sunny day. I realized why after a while. The animals are generally not outside this time of year in Iowa. We still got to see some, but more than half were inside their warm homes for the winter. Oh well… we still had fun and soaked up some beautiful sunshine.
P.S. It’s so weird to see iced over ponds and rivers here! They melted quite a bit last week with the warm weather, but you can still see some ice on this one. Yet, look at that gorgeous sky!
