We decided to take advantage of the perfect weather and holiday from work (for Jake) and went to the local zoo. Although it is much smaller than our old zoo, it’s actually pretty amazing! Elayna loved feeding the parakeets, riding the train, hanging on dad’s shoulders, playing on the huge children’s playground, and seeing the coy fish feeding frenzy. We probably saw half the zoo (if that) this time, so we will be going back soon. Hopefully with Aunt Mimi, who is coming to visit, and who happens to like giraffes. 🙂
